Harcharan Singh Challenge is back again! It’s that time of the year when SCEians can get together to showcase their athletic prowess and sportsmanship, or just relax and enjoy a good recreational game or two.

The games will be held from the 6th to the 15th of October (6.30 PM to 9.30 PM) at the SRC, SAC and NIE.

Take your pick from Soccer, Badminton, Tennis, Table Tennis, Captain’s Ball and Basket Ball if you’re into outdoor games, or choose from Uno Stacko, Chess, Chinese Chess, Carrom and Scrabble if indoor games are more your thing.

So don’t keep us waiting, form your teams and register with us at Harcharan Singh Online Registration before the 3rd of October, and we shall see you at the Harcharan Singh Games ‘09!

Computer Engineering Club is currently recruiting Career Development sub-committee members. Career Development jobs involve developing student skills by training and workshop series as well as to assist them to get internships and jobs.

The following positions are currently available for interview:

1. Technical Officers:
   • To maintain and develop Ascent job portal. Knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, MySQL, or Facebook API is preferred.
   • To write technical tutorial series.
2. Business Liaison:
   • To liaise with companies and help us market the Ascent job portal in the corporate world and among the NTU students.

The interview will be held at Siggraph Room (N4-B1c) at the following times:

• Tuesday, 14 September: 16.00-17.30
• Wednesday, 15 September: 18.00-19.00

Softcopy: $20 per Paper
Hardcopy: $15 per Paper

Requirement : Minimum grade of A-.

The registration is online and it will be closed on Thursday, 10 September 2009. You can apply to solve maximum of three past year papers by going to Online Application Form.
